Hazard Study

The Hazard Study identifies and characterizes the risks of major accidents at an industrial facility, assesses their consequences, and defines control measures. It is required for classified establishments subject to authorization.

Who is concerned?

Any operator of a classified installation for environmental protection subject to authorization — hydrocarbon storage, petrochemical units, hazardous product depots, pressure equipment — must produce a Hazard Study before commissioning and revise it after each substantial modification.

A Hazard Study report compliant with the Algerian regulatory framework, incorporating the effect zone mapping and risk control plan, ready for submission to the competent authorities.
